Welcome to SV MEDIA
The media venture of S V Media began in 1997 with Subanasri .V founding S V Productions. The production company, which began as a one-man operation, transformed into a full-fledged television station in 2006. With only a small number of viewers at first, the channel quickly expanded to become a powerful player in the Canadian media landscape, carried by all of the major Broadcast Distribution Undertakings (BDUs), including Rogers, Bell, and TELUS. Together, these BDUs service more than 90% of Canadian households. Our expansion was further bolstered the following year when we bought a truck with a satellite uplink facility, making us the first channel with mobile broadcasting capabilities.
